Why We Breed...
You ask,Why do you breed Cockers?  Well sit back and take the time to read what is written in
the paragraphs below.

I breed to create the ultimate dog.  One that is healthy, loving, smart, and yes beautiful.  I health
test every dog in my breeding program to try my best to make healthy puppies that will live a
long full life by your side.  No, there is no guarantee that he will never get sick but I have done
my best to try to prevent this.  Loving so they will not be of bad temperament and unpredictable
like puppy mill and backyard breeders puppies are.  Yes Cockers have gotten a reputation for
being nasty, this is due to poor breeding.  I have only selected those that show the best
temperaments.  Smart, face it who doesn't want a smart dog.  They are easy to train and eager
to please,at least most of the time. LOL  They have to be smart to do what their ancestors were
bred to do.   Last but not least, beauty.  I'm sure no one will ever tell me, "I want the ugliest one
in the litter."  Everyone falls in love with a Cockers beauty.  Who can look into those eyes and
not melt and those ears are just icing on the cake in my humble opinion. LOL

I breed for you, the pet owner.  Let's face it, not every dog in a littler will make it as a show dog.
I select the dogs that I think will make it and try to place them in show homes, but the truth is,
they are only 8-9 weeks old when this decision is made.  It's hard to know who's bite may go
off, who will be too short or too tall, or even not like the show ring and do poorly.  None of these
things will make them any less of a pet, just not the ultimate show dog.  Who knows, you
probably will end up with the one I should have kept. LOL

I also breed for the shear joy of raising a litter of puppies.  Watching them go from squirmy little
blobs to beautiful, happy puppies.  I take care to make sure each one gets the best of
everything.  I took the time to check to make sure that their parents don't have any harmful
genetic defects that they could get.  I have socialized them around children, two live right in my
own home.  I have taken them to the vet to make sure they are healthy and given them all of
their shots.  I have raised them in my own home.  They were whelped in my bedroom then joined
the family downstairs when it was safe for them.

I know what it is like to be a dedicated pet owner.  I have owned 7 pet only dogs before I
became a breeder.  I have worked at a dog trainers and worked in the kennel as well as dog
grooming.  I have spent thousands of dollars in one clip many times over.  Taking care of my
pets threw different illnesses.  I have dealt with demo deictic mange, stomach cancer, brain
tumor, autoimmune disease, hip surgery, and even bad temperament.  I know what it's like to
have to let your dog cross over the rainbows bridge and hold them in your arms the whole way
threw.  I know that if something does go wrong, I can help you threw it for I have been there
myself.  I hope you never have to deal with any of these things but if you do, I will be there with
you every step of the way.

So know this, I am dedicated to breeding the best dogs that I possibly can.  I have given them
lots of love and care.  I hope you will to.  There is no such thing as "just a dog".  They are loving
feeling parts of our family.
