Hi, my name is Tammy.  I live in Northeastern PA with my husband and two children.  They are everything
in the world to me.  I would like to introduce you to us so you can see why we do what we do.

I was raise right here in Northeastern PA as well as was my husband.  I had always had a dog of some
kind, mainly hunting dogs that my dad had.  We never really had them for very long it seemed though.  I
loved dogs and decided that when I grew up, I would have a dog and it would never leave us.  I would
keep it for it's life.

In 1997, after dating for almost two years, my husband decided that he wanted to join the Army so we
decided that we would get married before he joined that way I could be with him as soon as he was done
with basic training.  So we got married Sept. 13th.  My husband was due to go in a month.  On his birthday
we decided to get a puppy so I would have someone to keep me company while he was gone.  My husband
mediately said he wanted a Cocker Spaniel.  Being so inexperience, we went to a local pet store and
played with a litter of 4 Cocker Spaniel puppies.  The one layed with me so nice.  He would growl at the
other puppies when they tried to come near me.  There was another one that wanted nothing to do with
us and just wanted to explore everything.  He acted as if the world was too big to be tied down to seeing
us.lol  After a while I asked my husband which one he wanted and to my surprise he chose the one who
wanted nothing to do with us.  This was our first dog Brownie.  Yes I know how original.  But he was a buff
and not brown. lol  He was quite the bold dog though.  He would run around in circles and then attack my
husband's legs.  So we decided to take him to obedience classes.  We found K 9 Korners.  Karen taught us
a lot about dogs and the way they think and how to train him.  He wound up being the best in the class.
My husband went to basic training but got hurt and came back home.  We decided that we wanted to
raise our family right here in Northeastern Pa.  We never regretted our decision to this day.  On
Christmas Eve that same year, I went and got our next dog from a back yard breeder, I know mistake
number 2, but I felt so sorry for him.  He stunk sooooo bad.  They had him in a card board box.  I bathed
him three times and he still stunk.  He is our senior dog, Gordan.  He is still with us to this day at 11 1/2
years.  He is a great little guy even though he can no longer hear and he isn't too stable on his feet.
Then in the spring my mother asked me if we wanted to adopt another Cocker Spaniel who was 2 years
old and needed to be placed.  So of course we took Cassie.  We then got a crazy little Border Collie
named Freckles and shortly there after added our German Shepherd Kohle who we also still have to this
day.  He is almost 11 and not in the best of health either.  After getting Kohle I decided to try my hand at
becoming a professional dog trainer.  I trained under the same lady Karen.  I really enjoyed it.  I learned
a lot from her.  I did everything from training to working in the kennel to grooming for a short while.  We
tried to do some Shutzhund work with Kohle but he wasn't cut out for it so again I added another dog
Eboni.  She was the last of our original 6.  They were all inside dogs and all well taken cared of.  We loved
them all.  It was quite the group of dogs.  They had there moments but all were really great dogs.  I
trained all of them in obedience as you can see from the picture.  No they are not pieced in.  I actually
got them all to do that at the same time.  Within weeks of getting Eboni she started to loose her hair.  So
we took her to the vet and sure enough she had Demo deictic Mange.  We had to give her a Heart Guard
pill every day and take her every other week for skin scrapings to see if it was going away.  It took a
couple of months but thank God it did.  But at the end of her treatments Kohle came down with the same
thing.  It's not the Mange that most people think of it's hereditary.

About two years later, I found out we were blessed with our first child on the way.  So I quit working to
be a stay at home mom to my child.  We were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Henry.  He is now 8 and
is constantly on the go.  He doesn't know how to sit still.  On Henry's first birthday we found out we were
going to be having our second child.  Hailey came nine months later.  What a joy she is to have around.
She is here mommy's little girl and loves dogs just as much as I do.

When my son was going into kindergarten the reality that my children were growing up and I would be
home alone the very next year set in.  We were down to only 3 dogs so we decided we could add another
dog to our home.  Lizzy came to us from MN out of Namees Cockers.  Margaret was a very kind lady to
give me this great opportunity to own one of her fine dogs.  Lizzy was exactly what I was hoping for.
Although she lacks in some of her conformation, she makes up for it 10 times over in her personality.  I
could never say anything but good things about the temperament of any of the Namees dogs that I have
seen.  I know another lady who also owns two of her Cockers and they are exactly like my Lizzy.  Less
than a week from when the one got off the plane, I showed her for my friend at a local match.  She didn't
miss a beat.  What a great dog.

Just about the time Lizzy was due to hit the show ring, my son was miss diagnosed with a very serious life
threatening disorder.  Thank God several months later we got the best news of our life, it was just that, a
miss diagnoses.  But with all the doctors visits and thinking that it was a life threatening illness, I cut
Lizzy down.  I had informed Margaret and asked her permission to still consider breeding her in the
future if all went okay with my son.  She gave me the okay to do so.

That takes us to the current day.  Lizzy has had her first litter of puppies and they were great.  We bred
her to a solid male that complimented what she was lacking and what a nice litter it was.  Three out of
the four puppies are in show homes and due to hit the ring shortly.

We kept one of her puppies and are planning on showing him from the bread by class.  We are hoping for
our first home bred champion this year.  Wish us luck!

So as you can see.  I may not have bred a lot of litters but I have a lot of experience between my own
dogs that we have owned and with working for the trainer.  I'm now applying that knowledge to raise the
best puppies possible.
